THE music of electronic dance group Ultrabeat raised the roof of a Barrow bingo hall at the weekend.

DJ Ian Redman, an original member of Ultrabeat who produced the 2003 hit song Pretty Green Eyes, was supported by MC Cover at Apollo Bingo in Hollywood Park.

The famous group also had hits with 'Elysium (I Go Crazy)' and Discolights.

Ultrabeat, from Liverpool, were formed in 2002, originally consisting of vocalist and producer Mike Di Scala and producers Ian Redman and Chris Henry.

Their debut album Ultrabeat: The Album came out in 2007, peaking at number eight on the UK Albums Chart.

Bingo lovers were treated to hits from the artists and took home unique prizes.

Head of events at Majestic Bingo Stuart Booth said: “We were delighted to sell out this event and bring the people of Barrow an incredible night of crazy bingo and a set from top DJ Ian Redman of Ultrabeat, supported by MC Cover.

"Everyone was having an amazing time and the feedback has been fantastic.

"People won prizes ranging from giant teddy bears to Ant and Dec life-size cut-outs.

"There were crowd sing-alongs, dance offs and general mayhem ably managed by our great No Limits Bingo host Ryan Swaine. Tickets for the follow up event featuring N Trance on 29th January 2022 are already selling quickly via Eventbrite.co.uk."
