A HALLOWE'EN event will see children take part in a fancy dress competition while enjoying a spooktacular film.
The BID Film Club is inviting families to The Forum in Barrow to watch Anne Hathaway in Rold Dahl's The Witches.
A spokesman said: "The film is PG rated and suitable for all ages, however, it is Halloween and we can’t promise that parents won’t get scared."
The film is organised by Barrow BID in partnership with the Furness Youth Work Partnership, who will be running a fancy dress competition for children at each of the showings.
Children are invited to don their scariest Halloween costumes.
Tickets are £3 each, or a family ticket is £10.
There will be a showing at 11am and 2pm on October 30.
