HEARING: South Cumbria Magistrates' Court
AN authority wants to take action against nearly 700 people for unpaid council tax.
A Barrow Council representative is due to appear in court to apply for a liability order for 671 people who have not paid the charge.
A liability order gives the council additional powers for collecting debts owed.
The application is due to be made at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court today.
