CALL OUT: Furness Coastguard called to Walney Channel
THE coastguard was called out to a capsized vessel in Walney Channel.
Furness Coastguard were paged at 7.42am on Monday.
A spokesman said: "Once on scene the vessel was quickly identified and the team established there was no persons in danger.
"If in danger around the coast, or on the four main navigable lakes, Windermere, Coniston, Ullswater or Derwent Water, call 999 and ask for the coastguard."
