AN OPEN call has gone out to find creative artists to take part in a two week residency.
Extreme Views – Food, Futures and Biodiversity will create an engaged art and environmental experience in the landscape. Artists are invited to Barrow for an intensive, collaborative two week residency to develop an exhibition in the outdoors.
In the final weekend the artists as guides will welcome the community, to share the experience and add to the conversation, in a programme of open free events.
As Lead Artist in Residence, Owen Griffiths, alongside Art Gene’s artists and directors Maddi Nicholson & Stuart Bastik, will support the three Artists in Residence throughout.
The deadline is at 5pm on September 20. Visit: https://www.art-gene.co.uk
