A NEWLY-OPENED takeaway has been scored a one in its latest food hygiene inspection.
Dallas Chicken and Pizza in Cavendish Street, Barrow was visited by inspectors from Barrow Borough Council on August 3.
The takeaway, which opened earlier this year, was rated a one in its latest hygiene report.
The site received a report from inspectors, receiving a 'very good' for its hygienic food handling, a 'very good' for its cleanliness and condition of the facilities and the building and another 'major improvement necessary' for the management of food safety in the takeaway.
The takeaway opened in the place of the former Barrow Pizza, next to the William Hill betting shop.
It neighbours a number of other takeaways and eateries including the Barrow Arms, Mithali and Sizzle In.
