GARY Wheeler will make his long-awaited home debut for the Raiders when they entertain London Skolars this afternoon at 2pm.

The former Super League player will come into the back line division as Barrow look to get back on track following two successive away defeats.

Connor Terrill is back in the squad following a loan spell with Coventry with Declan Hulme also in contention.

However, Adam Walne joins brother Jordan on the side-lines after picking up a bicep injury at Doncaster last weekend.

Carl McBain has left the club and has returned to Barrow Island.

Mark Tyson is also ruled out, the centre damaging his leg while crashing into the posts when scoring at Doncaster.

Coach Paul Crarey said: “We have players in and players out, but that’s the nature of the game.

"We are no different to other clubs and you just have to get on with it.

“I was disappointed with the result at Doncaster. It was a game we could and should have won.

“We sat down on Wednesday and had a good chat about things and so we now look ahead with three games remaining.

“There were no fingers pointed, it was very positive and at this time of the season it can become quite tense for the players.

“We have Rochdale away and finish with West Wales at home.

“It is in our own hands to finish top and avoid the play-offs as we keep a close eye on Workington.”

Crarey is aware that the play-offs can be a tough route to the Championship.

Barrow have topped the table for most of the year but are now in second spot to Workington, who have tough away games at Doncaster tomorrow and London the following week.
