THE annual Cartmel Show has been a local treasure over the decades and here are some of the memories we have found from over the years.
In 1997, it was reported that a four-year-old Zoe Marshall, of Barrow, won a first prize in the best bunny event with this lovely white rabbit.
John Battersby of Scales Farm, won the Supreme Champion of the show in 1995 with "Twizzlefoot Conquest Vall" a two-year-old milking heifer from the Dalegarth herd.
In 1993, Michael Dobson, of Crossthwaite, after a successful day in the cattle section. The magnificent Tetley Walker's Shire Horses William and Star were exhibited by Jane Richards and Fred Sharpe in 1995.
Jennifer Snell and Moyra Towers were second with pony Ainsty Fairgame in the Private Driving in 1994.
