A MEMBER of Ambleside AC is currently taking on an epic series of challenges to raises funds for CancerCare and Cancer Research UK.
Jane Reedy has now completed the first two stages of her 'Big 5' challenge after taking 15 hours to conquer the Frog Whitton, a 96-mile bike ride and six-mile swim, earlier this week.
After finishing the Frog Whitton, Jane will now tackle her final three challenges, which includes swimming the length of Coniston Water, the Cross Bay Walk and a beach ride on horseback - all by September.
With it being five years since her cancer diagnosis, Jane is now looking to looking to raise money for the two cancer charities.
