CHILDREN will have the chance to experience being a firefighter this summer.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service is holding a host of firefighter experience days for children aged 12 to 16.
Youngsters can choose between a one-day and a four-day experience course, which will see them don protective gear and learn about the lifesaving role.
There are places available on the following dates for four-day courses:
▪️ August 2-5- Ulverston Fire Station
▪️August 6 to 9 - Kendal Fire Station
▪️ 10th - 13th August - Barrow Fire Station
One-day courses:
▪️ July 31- Coniston Fire Station
▪️ August 7 - Windermere Fire Station
▪️ August 8 - Ambleside Fire Station
▪️ August 20 - Kirkby Stephen Fire Station
▪️ August 27- Appleby Fire Station
