MARCUS Rashford’s school meals campaign has led to free rock-climbing sessions for kids over the age of six at a Lake District attraction.
Ambleside Adventure announced the news on Wednesday, which will also see kids who qualify for free school meals receive a hot meal.
A statement said: “As a direct result of the Marcus Rashford School dinner’s campaign, the council has received and allocated funding to help towards young people who qualify for free school meals.
"Ambleside Adventure in partnership with Cumbria County Council is offering free indoor rock-climbing sessions for all ages (starting at 6+).
"This incentive is now also extended to those who have been adversely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and may struggle to provide recreational activities for younger people during the summer holidays.”
