THE SOUTH Lakes Safari Zoo has put out a plea for help.
The zoo, in Dalton, re-opened on June 8, after a legal issue when the new landlord terminated the lease of the company that runs the site.
Staff turned up on June 7 to find the locks had been changed and they could no longer access the site.
But now they are looking for singers or bands to perform at an event they are hosting on September 18.
It will be an event of live music and they want someone 'beautifully-voiced' for the job
They said: "We are looking for some beautifully-voiced LIVE singers/bands to add to what already promises to be a pawesome event on the 18th September.
"If you - or anyone you know - fits the bill and has space in their calendar - please send them our way; events@cumbriazoo.co.uk."
