Tickets are on sale for Barrow AFC’s pre-season friendly against Bolton.

Former Bluebirds boss Ian Evatt brings his newly-promoted side to Holker Street on Saturday, July 24.

Barrow are allowing season-ticket holders free entry and say further information on the collection of season cards will be issued next week.

Bolton have been given an allocation of 112 seats and 550 terrace tickets for the game which will see fans return to the Bluebirds’ stadium.

Tickets for both home and away supporters will be available online from the club’s ticketing website where fans can download an e-ticket. which can be printed or scanned at the turnstiles.

Tickets will remain on sale up to matchday and to home fans only from matchday ticket offices on the day, subject to availability.

Evatt’s side are preparing for life in League One after going up in third place from League Two last season.

Barrow start pre-season action this afternoon when they take on Holker Old Boys at Rakesmoor Lane (kick-off 1pm).

The club, meanwhile, will hold a Q&A for fans the evening before the Bolton game.

The event on Friday, July 23 at 7pm will see boss Mark Cooper, chairman Paul Hornby, chief executive Levi Gill and directors Tony Shearer and Steve Herbert answer questions.

It will be held in the Cross Bar at Holker Street.

The Bluebirds say entry is free and doors will open at 6.30pm but, with capacity limited to 120, they will be operating a first come, first seated policy.
