A MILLOM care home has received a positive report following an unannounced inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
St George's Care Home was rated 'Good' overall by the CQC after inspecting the care home in May.
The care home scored 'Good' throughout all of the CQC categories on safety, responsibility and care.
A statement from the care home said: "We are pleased to announce we have had our CQC Inspection and received our report, which has scored us with a rating as Good across all 5 standards.
"This has made us even more proud of our home and our outstanding team who provide an excellent level of care to all within the home."
During the visit, inspectors observed the whole environment at the care home and spoke with residents.
