A MUSIC festival is set to bring to Furness this weekend in the form of two live performances attended by a small audience.

The Ulverston Music Festival has had a tough time of it over the last 15 months and this is their first chance to have an audience back for their individual acts going on this weekend.

The festival director Anthony Hewitt will be playing a piano recital on June 19 followed by Martin Roscoe on June 20. Both piano recitals will start at 7pm at Our Lady of Furness St Mary's Church on Duke Street in Barrow.

This coming weekend sees the next stage of Ulverston Music Festival's attempts to entice and encourage classical music lovers in South Lakes back to in-person concerts. The audience will be safely distanced with all the requisite health and safety protocols in place.

Tickets are £10.50 and can be booked on https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/ulverston-music-festival-33604962541.
