A CELEBRATION of yarn is arriving at Lowick Green next month.
The Farmer's Arms and Dodgson Wood are teaming up on July 3 to host The Farmer's Yarns.
Taking place between 10am-4pm at The Farmer's Arms, the one day festival will bring together over 20 stall holders from across the UK.
The festival aims to celebrate the versatility of British wool - and visitors will find everything from luxury knitwear to crochet lessons.
There will also be rare breed raw fleece available for hand spinning and felting, Herdwick wool rope making demonstrations and lots of rare and native breed sheep for visitors to meet.
The day will conclude with a panel discussion at 4.30pm about British wool and increasing its value for farmers.
