A DRINK driver was given a hefty ban from getting behind the wheel after an incident on a motorway.
William Millard was charged with drink driving and failing to stop and provide his name and address after colliding with another vehicle on the M6 on April 30.
He had 88 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35.
At South Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Barrow, the 38-year-old was sentenced to 120 hours of unpaid work.
Millard, of Carrington Road in Wednesbury, West Midlands, was also banned from driving for 20 months.
