Crews called to vehicle fire left to burn overnight
FIREFIGHTERS were called out to reports of a vehicle fire left abandoned overnight.
Crews from Walney Fire Station were dispatched at 3.34pm yesterday afternoon to reports of a vehicle fire in South Walney.
The burnt car was left abandoned overnight and found smouldering by fire crews.
A spokesman said: "Firefighters were mobilised to reports of a vehicle fire at the Southend of Walney.
"It was abandoned burnt out overnight found smouldering, extinguished using 1HRJ and 1BA."
