A MOUNTAIN rescue team was called out after a walker had a climbing accident.
Coniston Mountain Rescue Team was dispatched to Tilberthwaite on Friday after a man fell during a climbing accident.
A spokesman said: "He was able to make his way down from the quarry to the car park. We were asked by North West Ambulance Service to assist, and sent two Land Rovers. The casualty was fully assessed for several injuries, fortunately none severe, and he was handed over to the land ambulance when it arrived."
