READERS have paid their tributes to an 'amazing' mother-of-two who sadly died last year.

Rebecca Megan Shaw died at the age of 32 at her home in Ulverston on August 10, 2020 after consuming a fatal level of drugs, an inquest heard.

Mail readers have paid heartfelt tributes to Miss Shaw, describing her as an 'amazing person' who 'didn't deserve any of her struggles'.

Hayley Barker said: "Thinking of your family especially your children - miss you Becky."

Lisa Marie Dermody said: "Still find it hard to believe you're gone Becky, thinking of your family and the little ones. May you rest in eternal peace sweetheart."

Becki Parker said: "Becky was an amazing person and didn’t deserve any of her struggles. I’m sure people read about her taking part in raising money for a young man to get a new wheelchair - that’s the kind of person she was.

"So many people didn’t know of her struggles because she put a brave face on every day. Smiley happy loud Becky.

"Her amazing children got her through her daily battles. Becky was a fantastic mum and I’m so glad all her beautiful qualities are apart of her children.

"Anybody that knew Becky will know what a local treasure she was in Ulverston, so very loved and respected. She is missed every day by many. I miss my best friend, my soul sister and my go to every second of the day. Her mum and dad couldn’t have put it better - I truly wish you saw in yourself what we saw in you., til we meet, hug and cry again. I love you."

Kerry Kezzabella Dillon said: "She was always the life and soul of any party with a smile that brightened any mood. A true diamond and missed every day. Becky always put a smile on no matter what she was going through."
