BARROW Borough Council has been hard at work cleaning up the town's streets after a spate of fly-tipping.
Staff members from Barrow Borough Council Housing Department and a number of street care teams have been cracking down on litter and fly-tipping this week.
A spokesman said: "Housing staff and our mobile caretaking unit together with the council's streetcare, parks & gardens and FCC teams, as well as the mayor, have been hard at work and out and about on estates clearing up litter and removing fly-tipping."
