A MOTORIST tested positive for cocaine after driving at speeds above of 90 miles per hour on the M6.
Officers arrested the motorist after he reportedly overtook a police car on the M6 and was driving speeds of around 95 miles per hour.
Cumbria Roads Police said: “Overtaking a big, shiny police car on the M6 when it’s doing 75 will usually pique our interest. Increasing the speed to 95 immediately after will earn the driver a chat and a report.
“Providing a positive drug wipe for cocaine during the chat earns a trip to the custody suite.”
