A SOUTH LAKES pub has said it will not be opening next Monday.
The Ship Inn, confirmed the news on Thursday.
The Greenodd pub, which has its own brewery, says it does not meet the government's restrictions.
A statement from The Ship Inn posted: "We wish to let all our customers know that as we have no outdoor area we will not be opening on Monday 12th April, but we will keep you posted as to when we will be fully opening."
As of next Monday, non-essential retail will be allowed to open again under Stage 2 of the government's roadmap.
This includes the hospitality sector.Venues will be allowed to serve people outdoors.
There will be no need for customers to order a substantial meal with alcoholic drinks and no curfew.
Customers must order, eat and drink while seated.
The Rule of Six, or two different households can meet.
