THE number of coronavirus cases in Barrow has dropped to the lowest it has been since the end of September.
The latest seven-day data, up to February 25, released by Gov.uk showed there were 52 confirmed cases in the district - 64 fewer than the previous week.
The case rate per 100,000 is 77.6 which is around the national average.
Seven–day rates are expressed per 100,000 population and are calculated by dividing the seven day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.
The number of cases is also broken down by ward in Barrow.
The area with the highest number of cases was Barrow Central with 11, up by one from the previous week, a rolling rate of 166.8 per 100,000.
