A GP practice has just 1,000 patients in the under 65 group left to vaccinate.
Dr Murray and Partners in Ulverston delivered 1,200 vaccines over two days last week, with just 1,000 patients left in the cohort 6 group (clinically vulnerable patients under 65) to go.
Dr Gerry Murray said: “We will continue to vaccinate this cohort next week.
“Thanks again to the volunteers for wonderful support as always. We celebrated 1,000 hours of volunteers time this week.
“This programme would not have been possible without your generous time commitment.
“We are awaiting confirmation of vaccine supply this week but are expecting another full vaccination day at the weekend.
“Again great progress this week.
“Another step towards a return to some normality in all our lives.”
