FOSTERING and Adoption with Cumbria County Council are hosting a virtual event for members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Those who identify as LGBTQ+ and are thinking about fostering are invited to join 'An audience with an LGBT foster carer'.
The session will be led by foster carer Ali, who along with her wife Ang, has fostered for two years.
She will share her experience of applying to foster, the approval process, the training and the support that is available during and after placements are made.
Afterwards there will be the opportunity to ask Ali any questions about fostering, as well as the fostering team.
The session will take place on March 4 at 6pm.
