A MAN who has been charged with drug driving and possession of cocaine in Newby Bridge is due to appear in court today.
Ryan James Steff, 25, of Mansion House Buildings, Rossendale, Lancashire has been accused of driving on the A590 at Newby Bridge whilst being over the 50 microgram per litre of blood limit for Benzoylecgonine (a cocaine metabolite), namely 140 micrograms per litre of blood.
He has also been accused of being in possession of cocaine. Both charges date back to August 30, 2020.
He is scheduled to appear at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court this afternoon.
