BARROW GYM: Industry 13.
A BARROW gym has smashed its fundraising target for the town’s foodbank.
In January, Industry 13, set a £500 target for its fundraiser as its members aimed to run one million metres collectively throughout the national lockdown.
As of 6.00pm Thursday evening, the gym had raised £650 for Barrow Foodbank, exceeding their original target by £150.
Their members had also managed to run one million metres in under 30 days.
The gym revealed that they donated the money raised to the foodbank last night.
Industry 13 is located on Roose Road, and replaced the building formerly occupied by HI-Q Tyres.
