Kirkby Post Office
A MAN accused of attempted robbery is due to appear before a court.
Gordon Leslie Wright is alleged to have attempted to rob postmaster James Varley, of Kirkby Post Office, on March 2 2018.
The 27-year-old, of High Cliff in Barrow, is also accused of attempted to rob £6,300 in Millom on December 15 2017.
And in February 2018 he is alleged to have used someone’s bank card to buy £563 of cigarettes in Barrow.
He will face South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
