A MAN has been banned from the road after he was convicted of drug driving.

Douglas Graham Francis Fisher drove his Renault Captur with breakdown products of cocaine and cannabis in his system at Newby Bridge on July 17.

The 36-year-old drove without insurance or without a licence.

The man, of All Hallows Road in Blackpool, was banned from holding a licence for 36 months and told to complete 70 hours of unpaid work when he pleaded guilty at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court.
