South Cumbria Magistrates' Court, Abbey Road, Barrow
A TEENAGER accused of assaulting a police officer in Barrow is due to appear in court this Friday.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, has been charged with assault by beating of an emergency worker.
The charge is in relation to an alleged incident dating back to January this year. He is accused of assaulting an emergency worker acting in the exercise of his functions by beating him.
The boy will appear at the Youth Court sitting at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on January 29.
