A MAN who drove his car on the A590 while disqualified has been ordered to carry out unpaid work.
Sam Robert Davies drove his Volkswagen Passat without a valid licence or insurance at Rusland Pool on November 27.
The 27-year-old pleaded guilty to the charges when he appeared before South Cumbria Magistrates' Court.
Davies, of no fixed abode, was told to complete 100 hours of unpaid work by magistrates.
He was also banned from holding a driving licence for 16 months and told to pay a £95 victim surcharge and £85 in cost.
