THREE areas of Cumbria have seen the biggest increases in Covid cases over the last seven days, figures show.
Copeland has seen a 213 per cent rise cases according to the most recent government data, the largest rise in England.
Barrow has seen a rise of 189.7 per cent, the fifth biggest increase in the county.
Cases in Carlisle rose by 134.4 per cent.
The figures are up to date as of November 4.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced a national lockdown urging people to stay at home.
Cumbria was previously in Tier 4, the toughest restrictions for coronavirus before lockdown.
