A NINE-bedroom property in the Lakes was the most expensive property sold in Cumbria in 2020.

Brathay How in Ambleside changed hands for £2.85 million.

The nine-bedroom property had originally been listed with a guide price of £3.85 million.

Data released by the Land Registry has now revealed how much its new spent to buy the property, making the most expensive sold in the county this year.
