A Town Deal winter survey has been launched to give people the opportunity to comment on a bid which will be submitted to the Government.
The Millom Town Board wants the opinions of members of the public on a number of agreed projects that are set to be developed and included in a plan that will be used in a request for funding from the Government’s Town Fund.
Some of the projects include the ‘Iron Line’, an enhanced walking and cycling trail from Millom to Haverigg, ‘Reactivating Heritage Buildings’, a project seeking to tackle vacant and under-utilised heritage buildings in Millom town centre, ‘Connected Millom and Haverigg’, a project aiming to improve the transport network, and ‘Activating Community Health’, a project seeking to provide a step change in health and wellbeing in Millom and Haverigg.
