A MAN from Dalton has been banned from the roads after exceeding the limit for delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (cannabis), a court heard.
Karl John Bolton, 20, of Broughton Road, was stopped on Abbey Road on May 6 with a controlled drug, namely delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol , in his blood, namely 4.5ugl, exceeding the limit, South Cumbria Magistrates' Court heard.
He was fined £200 and banned from driving for 12 months.
He also had to pay victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85, meaning he had to pay a total of 319.
