A MAN has been fined and banned from driving for 17 months in court after being charged with drink driving.

Adam Steele, 24, of Dalton pleaded guilty to driving an Audi TT while over the legal limit on October 8, South Cumbria Magistrates' Court heard.

The Graythwaite Close resident had 64 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35.

He was fined £275 and had to pay court costs of £119.
