PLANS: JJC Waste Management
A waste management company has submitted a planning application to Barrow Borough Council for a new biomass unit in Barrow.
JJC Waste Management has said the proposals are for a second unit located on Park Road in Barrow and is for industrial use, according to the documents.
The plans state that operations will take place between 7am and 7pm.
However, due to the site location not being near any residential areas, the plans state this will have no direct interference on those in these particular areas.
