Third sector organisations in Cumbria are being invited to consider the Government’s Bounce Back Loan Scheme (BBLS) as a potential source of finance as the Covid-19 outbreak continues and winter approaches.
The scheme, which provides small and medium-sized businesses with borrowings between £2,000 and £50,000 or up to 25% of turnover, was extended until November 30 by the Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak after it was due to end on November 4.
Organisations can apply for a loan if they are based in the UK, were established before March 1 2020 and have been adversely impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic.
