POLICE pulled over a van on the M6 which was reportedly carrying overweight goods.
Officers from the Road Safety Team were conducting stops of both private and commercial vehicles on the M6 - a number of which were overweight, operating without licenses and not roadworthy conditions
Among those was a Luton Van which was being used on a Cat B licence to transport kitchen units.
All axles were overweight and the vehicle had a total combined weight of over 6.5 tonnes. The driver was issued a prohibition notice issued and reported for the offences
