THE A590 is shut in both directions after a van overturned on the road this morning.
Cumbria Police are currently dealing with a road traffic collision on the A590 at the turn off to Cark on the westbound carriageway.
Both carriageways are now closed and alternative routes should be taken.
A police spokesperson said they were called at 7:30am and that the two vehicle involved were a Ford and a white van.
Both drivers are male.
An ambulance and a first responder attended the scene as well as police.
No injuries are reported on the police log as a result of the collision.
