A MISTRESS who was barred from an Ulverston pub after binding a woman to the rafters and spanking her repeatedly with a paddle has defended her actions in the national press.
Lydia Chadwick, also known as her dominatrix persona ‘mistress Lydia’, was barred from The Mill on Sunday.
Miss Lydia had arrived at the pub with a friend who identifies as a woman. After being seated Lydia tied her friend to the rafters with a dog lead and spanked her with a paddle in front of diners - all to the tune of Lovely Day, made famous by Bill Withers.
Speaking to The Sun, Mistress Lydia said: “People should get out of the dark ages and accept this sort of behaviour. Most people are just treating it as a laugh.
“I didn’t mean to upset The Mill. We were just giving people a laugh. I didn’t think the Mill would be upset. I will apologise to them.”
