CLEAN UP: Rubbish discovered at Ulverston Station
TRAIN passengers are being urged to put their rubbish in the bin after items of litter were dropped at Ulverston Station.
British Transport Police is calling on train users to use the bins provided on the platform to dispose of the rubbish.
The call comes after rubbish items were dumped on Sunday.
A spokesman for BTP said: “If you were at Ulverston Station last night and didn’t see the bins on the platform, the cleaner has now been and tidied up after you. Putting your rubbish in the bins just makes the station a nicer environment for everyone.”
