A STATELY home in Grange is preparing for a heated weekend.

Holker Hall and Gardens is hosting its annual Holker Chilli Fest on September 5-6.

The hotly anticipated event is a two day festival which will see chilli heads meet specialist chilli companies from all over the country.

There will also be local specialist food suppliers, catering featuring cuisine from around the world and a variety of quirky gifts.

With entertainment, cookery demonstrations and the much anticipated chilli eating competition, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Joining the Holker Hall and Gardens team over the spicy weekend is Andy Jester - The Useful Fool.

Event-goers will be treat to a display by Andy as he dazzles his audience with his fire display and sky scraping stilt walking.

The event will run from 10.30am-5pm on both days of the festival.

Strict social distancing measures will be in place that must be adhered to at all times.

Adult Fest entry costs £4, Adult Garden and Fest entry costs £5 and children under 16 and season ticket holders can attend Holker Chilli Fest for free.
