Dalton mayor Nick Perie and deputy mayor Craig Fox
A MAYOR is due to wear the chains for another year.
Councillor Nick Perie, the Mayor of Dalton, has been selected to carry on until 2021.
He will carry out the role with Cllr Craig Fox acting as deputy mayor.
Mr Perie said: “I am truly honoured and proud to be the Mayor of Dalton in Furness again and pleased to be serving back to back terms the first since 2011-12.”
Meanwhile, Dalton Town Hall has reopened to the public.
In Station Road, it is open between 9.30am and 1pm.
