A MAN has died after he was 'seriously injured' by cattle whilst out walking.
Emergency services responded to a call out in Chapel le Dale, Ingleton on Saturday.
Cave Rescue Organisation (CRO) arrived at 1.36pm after a call from a walker that her husband was injured.
The man was out with his wife and their two terriers when he became seriously injured by cattle near the bridge over Winterscales Beck.
Paramedics attempted CPR and an air ambulance arrived, but the man sadly died.
The walker’s wife sustained a leg wound and was taken to hospital, while one of their terriers required veterinary treatment.
