A GBH investigation is under way, after a man was assaulted in Barrow town centre.
Police say the man was assaulted at approximately 10pm this Thursday at the Emlyn Street junction adjoining Buccleuch Street.
The man suffered an injury to his arm.
A 33-year-old man from Barrow was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent and released on police bail.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or information relating to the incident.
