AN ULVERSTON takeaway app has donated its profits to those in need during a successful first week.
A spokesperson for Ulverston Eats said: “As promised this week we have donated all profits generated in our first week of Ulverston Eats to the local food bank.
“We have topped that donation up even further too to ensure we made it over our target of providing the equivalent of 400 meals to people in Ulverston. Thanks to all of you who ordered and everyone that is supporting local. It really was a fantastic effort from all of you.
“We would like to thank everyone who ordered and helped contribute and also give an extra special thank you to the amazing volunteers working at the food bank.”
Four new places have joined Ulverston Eats this week; Sea Breeze Dalton, Corner Shop, Ice cream & More and a cocktail delivery service.
