READERS of The Mail have come out in praise of NHS workers after a video shone a light on Furness General Hospital staff.

This is what they said.

Wifi Cumbria: "These are our modern day soldiers risking there lives going to work they are special heroes all of them."

June Tyson: "Thank you to all NHS hospice at home district palliative nurses and Lakeside carers and all of the other home care. Please stay safe without your care life would be very hard thank you again."

June Eccles: "Thank you one and all, stay safe."

Christine Holden: "Well done and Thankyou for everything, you are all doing."

Sue Pennington: "Thank you all , you are our heroes. Stay safe."

Bernie Kerr: "Thank you to all the staff at FGH, heroes all of you."

Janice Palmer: "Well done everyone of you."

Kevin Hill: "I take my hat off to ALL the staff at FGH, I personally have been on the receiving end of their great work (in the past), but now they are on the front line against a silent killer and many have families of their own, for now and in the future many thanks and may you all stay and be safe."

Richard Taylor: "I know how hard all of these guys work. Total respect to them."

Darren Collinson: "These people saved my life nearly three years ago and everyday I'm thankful for what they do for people 100 per cent respect to them all."

Gareth Evans: "So much respect for health and care workers at this time, they're so important."
