AN environmental group in Ulverston is asking residents to leave two tins outside their door to help alleviate foodbanks.
Extinction Rebellion Ulverston is challenging the town to take part in the Two Tin Tuesday Challenge which sees residents leave out donations for Ulverston food bank.
The group will be collecting the donations on Tuesday morning and is requesting partakers to leave two items to donate on your doorstep at 11am.
Please email xrfurness@gmail.com your address by Tuesday morning to be added to the collection list.
Barrow and the surrounding areas will be challenged to the donation the following Tuesday.
The major shortages the food bank are requesting is basic essentials, such as tins, baby wipes and toilet paper.
The donation will have been collected from your doorstep by noon.
